Damon Wayans Shows Why Clayne Crawford Was Fired from Lethal Weapon

Damon Wayans Shows Why Clayne Crawford Was Fired from Lethal Weapon

He alleged Crawford "hit another actor in the mouth with a bottle of green tea and busted his mouth open". "Relished in making female (s) cry. And stuck (sic) fear in cast and crew". He also posted a photo that was taken on the studio lot, featuring an illustration of Clayne Crawford stating, "Clayne Crawford is an emotional terrorist". Another involved another actor feeling unsafe after getting hit with a piece of shrapnel while Crawford was directing. After meeting with human resources, he allegedly apologized, completed mandatory therapy, and shared "a sizable portion" of his paycheck with one of the parties "per the instruction of the studio". Warner Brothers, who run the show, have had to take action recently to get rid of one of the show's stars, Clayne Crawford, for a couple of on-set incidents. Fox never had the option to renew the series with Crawford attached. After that tweet, Wayans deleted his Twitter account in its entirety, according to The Hollywood Reporter, but his tweets have been preserved by others in screengrabs, which you can see below.

Damon Wayans is blasting his former "Lethal Weapon" costar, Clayne Crawford, as a menace to everyone on the show's set, and blaming him for the stunt that left him bloodied.

Wayans, 57, made the allegations on Twitter Monday night time after the Fox sequence was renewed for a 3rd season and Crawford's alternative introduced.

Updated, 11:27 p.m.to include video after Wayans' turned his Twitter feed public again. He also apologized to the cast and crew for the "negative attention" the show has received as a result of these incidents. However, he added that "I take great pride in treating everyone in life with dignity and kindness". I am very grateful for my job, and I work extremely hard at it. Right after the incident, Wayans was reportedly sent home for the day, and when he came back to work, he set limitations to what he was willing to do in the episode, citing safety concerns. [WBTV] thought long and hard about it - I know that was not their first choice, but ultimately these were the circumstances that they could offer us the show. The actor used hashtags such as #notanaccident, #noapology, and #knowyourfacts to send a clear message that he would not stand for fans supporting Crawford.

"To my cast and crew - CONGRATULATIONS on season 3!" he wrote. "Good Luck nxt season!" the actor wrote on Instagram hours after Fox and Warners confirmed he would not be returning for the newly announced third season.
