Backstreet Boys are back with new single 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart'

The Backstreet Boys released their first new song in years late Wednesday, lighting up social media.

In a tweet, the band announced their return with the new song accompanied with a corny caption referencing their 1997 hit single 'Everybody (Backstreet's Back)'.

The announcement comes on the heels of the boy band's 25th anniversary.

The guys have a busy 2018 in addition to their new release they will also be spending the rest of the summer in Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

About the song, the boyband's Kevin Richardson says: "The minute we heard this song we knew it was special". "I geeked out over the piano and synths". Singer Nick Carter tweeted thanks to fans for 25 years of support.

The group's studio album was released in 2013.

Backstreet Boys has returned with a new track and this revival track is getting a lot of attention for all the right reasons.
